Tex Jernigan made his spinning Twitter avatar in 2011 by filming himself turning on a chair in front of a white backdrop, then aligning every frame by hand. This site does the same from two photos: an image model draws you from eight angles, a video model turns them into one full rotation, and the site holds the pivot steady, evens out the speed and closes the loop.
